Narnia's Prince Caspian to Start in January
While the first Chronicles of Narnia, The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe, was shot in snowy New Zealand, the second installment, Prince Caspian, will likely shoot in the forests of Europe this coming January, says producer Mark Johnson. Set for release in summer 2008, the four stars of the movie will be 2 1/2 years older, but luckily, after Prince Caspian the two older siblings, Peter and Susan, disappear. (Just as well, I prefer Edmund and Lucy anyway.) Andrew Adamson is returning as writer-director for the second Narnia installment. A year after that he and Johnson will reteam to produce Voyage of the Dawn Treader, my favorite Narnia book, which includes a boy who turns into a dragon.

The best one is still the Magician's Nephew but Eustace as a Dragon is pretty cool I agree- that also has the pool of water that turns you into gold and the island of dreams- good and bad

the magician's nephew is so cool because it's the real origin story

So excited to here this Voyage Of The Dawn Treader news! Dawn Treader is my favorite book as well. The Magicians Nephew would probably be my 2nd.Both have a dark, mysterious quality in the multiple travels of each book. I really hope they make all of these books. & The 4 kids would be old enough to actually play their older selves in The Horse And His Boy & The Last Battle, when they finally got around to making them. That would be really interesting to see. Especially in T.H.A.H.B.. I'd love to see them when they were still in reign of Narnia, even if it is just for a fraction of the story...and missing the High King.

I'm looking forward to these films immensley, particularly with Adamson and Johnson involved. I'm glad they'll be focusing on Skandar Keynes (Edmund) and Georgie Henley (Lucy, they were by far the better actors in the first film. I hope they pick 2 actors to play Caspian (a teen for Prince Caspian) and an adult actor for the role in Dawn Treader. Thanks for the update.

Caspian in "Dawn Treader" is only 3 years older than he is in "Prince Caspian", so they would only need one actor....2 different actors would ruin the believability. But I agree, I hope their choice of a Caspian is great. I'm looking forward to finding out who they've chosen.
