I ran across this essay from The Los Angeles Review in The Week, but the only place I could find it online was at novelist Tara Ison's website. It's the true story about how she dated a well-known movie actor. When they watched TV, his face would pop up unexpectedly. What was real and what was acting?

Liked the bit that said "a longtime close friend whom you’d spot instantly in a crowd but whose face you’ve stopped studying or even really noticing", don't know if that's sad or not, depends on what you want from life. Good to know the sex is good, that's always helpful.
