Harry Potter Star Radcliffe Bares All for Equus

Harry Potter star Daniel Radcliffe, age 17, is turning serious thespian, as the West End promo photo for Peter Shaffer's Equus demonstrates. As the great Peter Firth did before him, Radcliffe goes nude onstage. I wonder how Warner Bros. feels about this? The family-friendly Harry Potter franchise still has several installments to go. The fifth, Harry Potter and Order of the Phoenix, opens worldwide in July, with two more to shoot after that.

It's a limited-run revival of a classic play, in London, to which children are not admitted--and it was announced months ago. Radcliffe needs to start working to build a career after POTTER ends, which will be 2-3 years from now. So he's nude onstage, so what? This is just another example of the right-wing media trying to manufacture a scandal where none exists, in order to cater to their religious-fanatic base (which considers Harry Public Enemy #1 for luring millions of children to The Dark Side).

I think it is simply a press so devoid of ideas that they never fail to run with the most obvious of stories. Though I suspect the backers of the play are delighted to be in the press. Warners' have made more than enough out of Radcliffe. He can't really hurt them now.

everyone once they get deep into show buiz they just let the nude pics just come and come... they are jsut horrible excpectailly if you look them up on google!!! this makes him look like a bastard not a sweet yound hott dude!!! this is just wrong!!!! i hate how everyone abuses there popularity when they get alll higg and mighty!!!! it is so frustraighting!!!!!
i feel like i wanna meet him like crazy sometimes and them i feel like he really is a freakish bastard!!! daniel radcliff needs to really get his priorites strait!!!!
