SAG Nominations

Littlemiss_sunshineyellow_1 Here's the Screen Actors Guild announcement of the nominees for the 2007 awards, set to air January 29 on TNT and TBS. After yesterday's PGA announcement, a pattern is emerging: no Clint Eastwood movies are showing up here, and Warners' push for Blood Diamond as well as The Departed has pushed Leonardo DiCaprio into supporting for that film, leaving no place for his co-stars. I had always expected Bobby to get an ensemble award here, but that doesn't mean the film will do well at Oscar time. The Queen should take its slot in the Best Picture category; interesting that Michael Sheen did not land a supporting actor nod, however. I do keep hearing "TV movie" in relation to The Queen.
