Harlan Jacobson of "Film Comment" and even Pauline Kael called Moore's methods into question right at the start, shortly after "Roger & Me" was released. Why has it taken so long for the CW to catch up? What's changed?

I got a screener of the film and it's phenomenal. How can we trust a documentarian's protests if he uses faulty methods for his films? This film isn't a right wing attack of Michael Moore but presents an honest view from the left.
