Ruling Means Denise Richards Show May Become Reality

Posted by Matthew Heller

Denise_richards1_300_400Reality show fans can breathe a little more easily now that the judge in the acrimonious Denise Richards-Charlie Sheen divorce case has given Richards the go-ahead to do a show about life as a Hollywood single mom.

Sheen had reportedly objected to the project since it would feature the couple's young daughters Sam, 3, and Lola, 2. "This goes against everything Sheen believes in ... and he feels it's exploitative of the children for the mother’s own vanity and greed," a source close to Sheen told the "Extra" celebrity gossip show. So Richards requested a court order stripping Sheen of his parental veto in the matter.

After a closed hearing Jan. 22, Los Angeles Superior Court Commissioner Harvey Silberman reportedly said the reality show could go on but established some ground rules Richards has to follow. No word yet on what those rules may be.
