Read Roman Polanski's Dismissal Request...If You Have A Day To Kill

By Eriq Gardner

PolanskiromanWe've read plenty of long-winded litigation filings. But Roman Polanski's request with the Los Angeles Superior Court to drop his notorious decades-old sex case is 239 freakin' pages! Polanski's lawyers might as well have dropped the heralded HBO documentary itself on the doorstep of the court. We're sure his lawyers, led by Chad Hummel at Manatt, probably knew how much attention this one would get, so they made sure they threw the kitchen sink in there.

More about this story can be read in today's THR. The hearing date is now set for Jan 21.

Well, it only means he's dead serious about it. Well researched and lengthy arguments, I hope.
