Mike Marino (right) has been promoted to senior vp and chief employment counsel at Warner Bros. Marino will be Warners' lead employment lawyer worldwide. He was vp and senior employment and compliance counsel for the studio.
- Google has tapped Elizabeth Moody, a digital music lawyer at Davis Shapiro Lewit & Hayes, to head up licensing deals for the Web giant. Moody sat for a Q&A with Billboard here.
- NBC Universal exec vp and general counsel Rick Cotton has been tapped to receive the Exemplar Award from the National Legal Aid & Defender Assn. Cotton will receive the award for dedication to pro bono services at a gala on October 6 in Washington.
