Bill Murray is starring as the villain in “Passion Play,” a romantic thriller being directed by Mitch Glazer.
Rhys Ifans ("Notting Hill") has also joined the cast which is being toplined by Megan Fox and Mickey Rourke.
The period story tells the tale of a down-on-his-luck jazz trumpet player who forms a bond with a winged beauty (Fox) who's now part of a sideshow attraction at a carnival.
Murray is playing a gangster named Happy intent on keeping the two apart.
Annapurna Prods., headed by Megan Ellison, is producing with Jonah Hirsch (“Main Street”) and Daniel Dubiecki (“Up in the Air”).
Glazer, the screenwriter behind “Scrooged” (which starred Murray), “The Recruit” and “Great Expectations,” is making his directorial debut with the picture.
Nick Meyer's Sierra Pictures is handling foreign sales for the film, which just began production in New Mexico.
Murray was recently seen playing himself in “Zombieland” and can be heard in Wes Anderson’s awards contender “The Fantastic Mr. Fox.”
Nice article on Bill Murray and Megan fox. The duo would make a good pair together I guess.

NBC is going to look very different next season. The network has added another single-cam comedy to the pile: "Friends With Benefits" from 20th TV and Imagine and has given a series order to superhero drama "The Cape."

Toby Stephens is no longer associated with Inseparable. His option expired before the script was okayed. Now the pilot is set as a midseason 2009 possible, cast-contingent.

Computerized pilots are not like regular pilots in that they are not prone to human error, i.e. they There was time when I took an active interest in the oil price. I made the classical economic assumption that the price was predominantly set by the ironclad laws of Supply & Demand. Not anymore. I can go for weeks now without knowing what the price is. This is an outstanding effort along with the many others that are being developed by a number of groups and organizations throughout our country. Together we can change not only ourselves and our country but we can help change situations in other parts of the world. I am proud to be a part of a people who can unite in the face of disaster and reach out to assist another nation.

Like other great things (people, places, ideas, products, brands, businesses), it seems brands like Nike set themselves apart from the normal by living (thinking and doing) the Jerry Garcia quote, 'You don't want to be known as the best of the best, you want to be known as the only one who does what you do.'
