Chandra West didn’t know what 'Cincinnati' was about either
TCA -- On a panel promoting Hallmark Channel’s original movies (30 new telepics coming in the next 12 months), actress Chandra West was asked whether she understood what was going on in David Milch’s short-lived HBO series "John From Cincinnati."
After searching for a moment to find the polite was to put it, she said, "to put a fine point on it, the short answer is 'no.' It was absolutely a totally unique experience unlike any other I’ve ever done before. It was incredibly fun and interesting and challenging and everything you might think working with someone like David might be."
Chimed in Corbin Bernsen: "I spent two hours talking with David on New Years Eve in 2000. He got me in corner with my wife and convinced us we had only one week to live left on planet."
Also, Jane Seymour was asked if “Dr. Quinn, Medicine Woman” could be revived by Hallmark Channel. She said no, because CBS owns the rights, “but I have all the clothes.”
Should be noted that Hallmark Channel has a more diverse and impressive slate than a couple years ago. Executive vp of programming David Kenin pointed out that for the first time in the network’s history, the channel will be profitable this year.
