'Eureka' premiere shows slight gain

Tuesday's night's third-season premiere of Sci Fi Channel's "Eureka" demonstrated slight across-the-board ratings gains compared to last year.

The dramedy was up 10% in viewers (2.8 million), 1% in adults 18 to 49 (1.3 million) and 4% in adults 25 to 54. That puts the premiere slightly above last season’s debut, but below the show’s 2006 series opener. “Eureka,” about secret U.S. town inhabited by geniuses, was also the top-rated show on cable in the 25-to-54 demo.
