'Got Talent,' 'Wipeout' top Tuesday
ABC continued its Tuesday domination led by "Wipeout," while NBC's "America's Got Talent" claimed the top spot as the night's highest-rated show.
ABC won the night with "Wipeout" (9.7 million viewers, 3.5 preliminary adults 18 to 49 rating and an 11 share), "I Survived a Japanese Game Show" (5.8 million, 2.3/6) and "Primetime" (7.6 million, 2.4/7), which were all about average. All the ABC shows except "I Survived" won their respective hours, but "Survived" did gain 10% this week.
In second place, NBC aired the season finale of "Celebrity Family Feud" (7.5 million, 2.0/6), which placed second for the 8 p.m.hour, then "Talent" (13.6 million, 3.6/10), which was up 6% this week, and a repeat. NBC also won the night among total viewers.
Mostly airing repeats, CBS (averaging 6.7million, 1.6/5) and Fox (averaging 4.4 million, 1.6/5) tied for third place. CBS also aired "Big Brother" (6.2 million, 2.2/6).
