Nigel Lythgoe reacts to 'Dance' injury

TCA -- "So You Think You Can Dance" contestant Jessica King has left the show because of an injury. King has been replaced by the most recently eliminated semi-finalist, Comfort Fedoke.

Citing legal concerns, producer and judge Nigel Lythgoe declined to give any details during the show's TCA panel about the nature of King's injury except to say she will be sidelined for four to five weeks.

"You have a law here that says don't discuss the injury, so I would prefer to get off this subject as quickly as possible," Lythgoe said.

In a prepared statement, Lythgoe said: "I would like to say how sorry I am that Jessica cannot continue dancing in the competition at the advice of her doctor. Her full recovery is paramount and will only come with rest. We are fortunate that Comfort has agreed to rejoin the competition and know that under the circumstances she has Jessica's full support."
