'Project Runway' premiere tops cable

The final season of "Project Runway" on Bravo was effectively on par with last November's debut, off just a tenth in the ratings. "Runway" (2.9 million viewers, 1.4/4) led all of cable Wednesday night in the demo, but ranked third in viewers.

The network shifted the show to the 9 p.m. this season, an hour with more broadcast competition, instead of its usual 10 p.m. slot. The show shifts to Lifetime next season.
