'When does Jack Bauer take a whiz?'

Comic-Con – Ahh, Comic-Con fan questions. When does Jack Bauer take a whiz, indeed.

Mr. Sutherland?

"In all fairness, we shot a scene where [Bauer] was going to raid an office, and he ran into a washroom and came out nine seconds later much relieved," says the actor of his real-time action hero in "24." "They cut it out. So whenever they cut to the White House, Jack is taking a pee. And he’s also getting something to drink and eat."

Before the panel, 20th Century Fox TV screened an exclusive clip from the upcoming two-hour movie, “Exile.” The team promised the movie would be among the show’s finest hours.

"We went to Africa with one of the best scripts we’ve ever had," Sutherland says. "It was one of the few things we got to do where we weren’t rushing against the clock. We didn’t have to rush it like we normally do."

As for the long-rumored "24" movie, executive producer Howard Gordon says they’ve stopped toying with the idea – at least, as long as the show is on the air.

"We've come to the conclusion we don’t want to mess with a good thing while the show is on the air," Gordon says.
