Olympics boosts Jay and Conan

The Big Question coming out of the Summer Games is whether NBC will be able to capitalize on its increased viewership moving into the fall. Will all those promos for "My Own Worst Enemy" and "Heroes" pay off?

Until then, it seems NBC's late-night properties, at least, will see some gain. Friday's episodes of "The Tonight Show with Jay Leno" and "Late Night with Conan O'Brien" enjoyed their highest ratings in months even though they were delayed due to the opening ceremony. The evening marked Leno's best number since May (1.7 rating in adults 18 to 49) and O'Brien's highest since June (1.0).
