SNL ratings and 'Mad Men' parody video
"Saturday Night Live" ratings from THR's Paul Gough:
This week's "Saturday Night Live" may not have had the star power of Sarah Palin, Alec Baldwin and Mark Wahlberg and its record-breaking ratings, but it didn't do too bad either.
"SNL" averaged a 7.1 rating/18 share in the metered markets, according to preliminary estimates released Sunday by Nielsen Media Research. That's up 73% compared to ratings for originals (4.1/10) in October 2007, although there aren't any comparable ratings for the same week last year because it was a repeat.
Last week, Palin's guest appearance brought "SNL" a 10.7/24 in the metered markets, its best since March 12, 1994. It was also the third-highest rated program of all of that week.
And here's last night's "Mad Men" parody (the funny one, not the other one) and the Barack Obama TV ad spoof after the jump...
