Fox airs 'Dance' contestant clothing crease (or vagina)

Reports of a "So You Think You Can Dance" contestant flashing her cooter on Fox has bloggers and online news sites going over frames of last night's episode like it was the Zapruder film.

In the footage, a contestant laying on the floor wearing a skirt convinced some viewers that she flashed her lady parts in primetime.

A debatable NSFW pic and Fox's statement after the jump...

So, yes, at first blush, the image looks suspicious. The second link above has a video for those who really want more detail.

A Fox spokesperson (in what's presumably not the highlight of her week) issued this comment:

"The footage in last night’s SO YOU THINK YOU CAN DANCE was reviewed thoroughly by the network’s Broadcast Standards & Practices prior to air and it was separately confirmed with the dancer that she was wearing flesh-toned dance gear."

"Dance" judge and producer Nigel Lythgoe also weighed in, saying "the show was always designed to expose talent, but not in this way" and calling it “a crease in the young lady’s panties.”

So there you have it.

Who knows, perhaps Fox will address the controversy on the next exciting episode of "So You Think It's a Vagina," which airs tonight.
