Fox adds more 'Idol' hours

Fox is stretching more Tuesday "American Idol" episodes.

After having previously announced a two-hour "Idol" performance episode for March 16, Fox said Thursday it will also have double-length episodes for March 23, March 30 and April 6. Also, underdog drama series "Past Life" will get a single brass-ring shot with an "American Idol" lead-in on Feb. 16. Fox will air an encore episode of "Glee" after "Idol" on March 9.
