Craig Ferguson dumps his audience (video)

CBS' always refreshingly candid Craig Ferguson tried dumping his small studio audience that's typically so appreciative of his cold opening. Last night Ferguson said he was inspired by one of his audience-free predecessors, Tom Snyder.

"Larry King does it every night ... lots of people do it, but I thought I would try it for me. If you watch this show, you watch it because you found it. Nobody told you it was on. There's no bus ads for Craigy. If you stayed with it, you're interested in it. Indulge me tonight." Here's how it turned out...
