Sarah Palin's daughter cast in 'Secret Life'

By Nellie Andreeva

Bristol Palin, eldest daughter Sarah Palin, will make her acting debut on ABC Family's hit drama "The Secret Life of the American Teenager."

On the show, which centers on new teen mom Amy (Shailene Woodley), Bristol Palin, who gave birth in high school while her mother was campaigning for vice president in 2008, will play herself, as one of Amy's friends at a music program for teen mothers.

"Bristol Palin is the most famous teenage mother in America," the show's creator/executive producer Brenda Hampton said. "I think she will bring additional attention to the issues facing teen parents that we've been exploring for a couple of seasons now." Find out when it will air here
