Winter Games ratings strength continues Friday
NBC's Vancouver Games coverage Friday night continued to generate impressive numbers, drawing 24.5 million viewers as Apolo Anton Ohno won his eighth medal.
That's right in line with the Games' 15- night average of 24.5 million viewers.
Using the six-minutes-or-more viewership measurement, NBC's coverage has been sampled by 183 million people (chart below).
Also Friday: CW's "Smallville" (2.5 million, 1.1 preliminary adults 18-49 rating) was on par. Fox's aired the NAACP Image Awards (2.9 million, 0.8), which proved that not all award shows are performing strong in the ratings lately.
