CW announces fall premiere dates

The CW Wednesday announced its fall premiere dates, which kicks off Wednesday, Sept. 8 at 8 p.m. with cycle 15 of "America's Next Top Model," followed by the series premiere of "Hellcats" at 9 p.m.  Breakout hit "Vampire Diaries" returns for a second season Sept. 9 at 8 p.m., followed by the series premiere of "Nikita" at 9 p.m.

"90210" (8 p.m.) and "Gossip Girl" (9 p.m.), now back-to-back, premiere on Sept. 13. "Life Unexpected" returns for a second season at 9 p.m. Sept. 14, following "One Tree Hill" at 8 p.m.
