NBC's 'Crusoe' nabs Neill, Bean, Ackland

Jeffrey Bell is 'Harper's' showrunner

Jeffrey Bell has been tapped executive producer/showrunner on CBS' midseason series "Harper's Island," which is being retooled. The serialized horror drama, from CBS Paramount, is described as "Scream" meets "10 Little Indians" and revolves around a group of friends who are terrorized when they meet on an island off the Seattle coast for a destination wedding. Rob Estes, Katee Sackhoff join series

Rob Estes (pictured, left) is set to star in the CW's "90210," while Katee Sackhoff (pictured, right) has joined FX's "Nip/Tuck" as recurring. In other casting news, Polly Walker has come on board Sci Fi Channel's two-hour pilot "Caprica," Saul Rubinek has been added to Sci Fi's pilot "Warehouse 13" and Michael Weston has been tapped for a multi-episode arc on Fox's "House." Fox schedules sci-fi, reality

Sci-fi action dramas and hour-long reality shows populate Fox’s schedule for next season, which includes new shows from top creative producers J.J. Abrams (“Lost”) and Joss Whedon (“Buffy the Vampire Slayer”). Fox’s lineup includes three new dramas, two comedies and an unscripted series.
