Two months into his new deal at Sony TV, Barry Sonnenfeld has set up projects at three broadcast networks and has several more lined up on the runway.

The producer-director's TV slate includes an adaptation of the Argentinean drama series "The Pretenders" for Fox, with writer Jorge Zamacona; a superhero family show for ABC with feature writer Peter Steinfeld and Dee Steinfeld; and "My World, and Welcome to It," a comedy at CBS with "Frasier" writer Jay Kogen. 'In the Motherhood' puts down roots

Levitan, Lloyd land project at ABC

ABC is teaming up with comedy veterans Steven Levitan and Christopher Lloyd on a single-camera project that follows three American families as told through the eyes of a Dutch documentary filmmaker.

The untitled comedy, which has received a put pilot commitment with a significant penalty, will be produced by 20th Century Fox TV, where Levitan and Lloyd have an overall deal. It is intended to be shot documentary-style, centering on one traditional and two untraditional families. Full story.
