Google Exec on YouTube-Viacom Case: 'We're Going All the Way to the Supreme Court'

YoutubeStrong words from Google vp David Eun when asked during a conference in Korea whether there was any chance that Google would sit down with Viacom to negotiate a settlement in the $1 billion copyright infringement case over YouTube.

"Nope,'' said Eun, the exec in charge of content partnerships at Google. "We're going all the way to the Supreme Court."

Okay then. So much for settlement rumors. It's rare to see such an unequivocated statement these days.
