Uma Thurman Testifies Against Alleged Stalker

Thurmanuma He may have to pay a high price for the performance, but Jack Jordan got what most celebrity stalkers only see in their dreams: a front-row seat to a live line reading from the object of his obsession.

In this instance, Uma Thurman read passages from cards and e-mail messages sent to her by Jordan, an unemployed pool cleaner who is accused in New York court of stalking the actress.

“Chocolate, mouth, soft, kissing…,” she read from Jordan's notes, adding, “And then I saw this part: ‘My hand should be on your body.’”

If convicted, Jordan faces a year in jail. For his part, he seemed to ignore Thurman's presence in court, which probably was smart.
