Allmanbrothersband The Allman Brothers are suing Universal Music Group for roughly $13 million over royalties from CD sales and digital downloads services. According to the lawsuit filed in New York federal court, UMG “refuses to pay Plaintiffs at the correct royalty rate for its digital exploitation of the Capricorn Masters,” including downloads and ringtones.

Apparently the band were record label polygamists in their time. Two years ago, they led a very similar class action lawsuit against Sony BMG.
