An Irish promoter is suing American Talent Agency for more than $1 million for failing to provide glam pop superstar Lady Gaga for two performances that were set to take place in Dublin and Belfast next month.

In a lawsuit filed in New York Supreme Court, Grooveyard Ltd claims that the defendant signed a contract to provide Lady Gaga for performances in connection with "The Konvict Tour." After making the agreement and paying out $320,000 to ATA in advance payments, Grooveyard says it was served with a cease-and-desist letter from AEG Live, claiming to have exclusive rights to promote Lady Gaga.

Grooveyard says it attempted to contact the defendants, who never responded to a request to clarify the situation.
