Hollywood Docket: Nipple slip case to 3rd Circuit; top 10 copyright stories of decade; Letterman plea?

- The battle over Janet Jackson's infamous nipple slip heads back to the 3rd Circuit Court of Appeals, which was told by the Supreme Court to consider reinstating the $550,000 in fines that the FCC imposed on CBS in light of the Court's recent decision in the Fox TV "f-bomb" case.
- Plagiarism Today counts down the top 10 copyright stories of the decade. Surprise! Tons of litigation makes the list!
- The alleged David Letterman blackmailer has been offered a deal to plead guilty in exchange for a one year jail sentence, according to the NY Post.
- Google is reportedly making progress in copyright talks with China.
- Joe Francis says he's going to sue Gawker for naming him Douche of the Decade (and apparently suggesting he's a rapist). Wait, doesn't suing just solidify his douche status?
- LA's California Science Center has been sued by a group called the American Freedom Alliance for canceling a film promoting the theory of "intelligent design" after alleged pressure from the Smithsonian. God help us all.
