  • Capt.8b93b76603854e42b723deb56335bcbc-8b93b76603854e42b723deb56335bcbc-0The Parents Television Council is threatening to challenge the broadcast licenses of CBS affiliates over its new sitcom based on the popular Twitter feed "Shit My Dad Says." CBS will promote the show verbally with the word "bleep," but the PTC says it's still unsatisfied. According to legal experts we've spoken to, CBS doesn't have much to worry about from the FCC. [THR]
  • Rapidshare is trumpeting a "landmark," "trail-blazing" decision by a U.S. District Court judge who rejected a motion by adult entertainment company Perfect 10 for an injunction against distribution of its photos. [PR Newswire]
  • An unreleased 2003 documentary about hackers narrated by Kevin Spacey and bogged down by conflicts among the producers and crew leaked onto Pirate Bay. [Wired]
  • The animated star of Nickelodeon's "Dora the Explorer" has suddenly found herself in the cross-hairs of the Arizona immigration law controversy as a mug shot of Dora has become a hot Internet meme. So far no word on whether Nickelodeon is upset over the creation and use of the pictured mug (beyond declining to comment on Dora's ethnic background.) [AP]
  • How does former Guns 'N' Roses guitarist Slash feel about our recent story that Axl Rose is suing over an alleged plot to reunite the band? Here's what Slash told VH1 Radio Networks' Dave Basner:

"I don't even know what that's about. I don't know where Axl is coming from. I mean, I know where Irving [Azoff] is coming from — he's looking for commissions for a tour that he booked. [It's a] pretty reasonable kind of thing. Axl's countersuing, so I'm not sure exactly what the merit is that he's countersuing, exactly."
