• Las Vegas hotel billionaire Steve Wynn is suing "Girls Gone Wild" creator Joe Francis for slander. Francis told TMZ that Wynn threatened to kill him. Wynn says it's not true and the comments were made maliciously. [Here's the complaint.]

• Is blogger Nikki Finke violating new FTC rules when her staff writes about "Tilda," an upcoming HBO series based on her, without disclosing that she is negotiating for a financial interest in the show? The whole thing is journalistically suspect, sure, but it seems like a stretch to call it illegal. [Village Voice]
