A few recent entertainment law moves:

  • Steven Krone, former Village Roadshow president and COO, has been named director of Southwestern Law School's Biederman Entertainment and Media Law Institute. He comes from Chapman University Law School, where he was a professor.
  • Former MPAA antipiracy guru Mark Litvak has joined the entertainment group in Pillsbury's Los Angeles office. Litvak, most recently a litigation partner at Reed Smith, has represented Sony, Disney and Activision.
  • The LA office of Lathrop & Gage has snagged copyright expert Carole Handler from Wildman Harrold. She rejoins colleagues from the old O'Donnell & Shaeffer firm, telling NLJ she's been "trying to get us into the same firm for the last nine years on and off."
  • Noah Solomon has joined BBC Worldwide Prods as vp legal affairs. He was in network legal affairs at ABC.
