Lindsay Lohan goes to jail

Tue Jul 20, 2010 @ 08:59AM PST

Lohanbooked Lindsay Lohan showed up at a Beverly Hills courthouse this morning to surrender herself for a 90-day jail sentence.

She arrived amidst a throng of media and onlookers, some of whom held signs reading, "Free Lindsay." She wasn't with attorney Robert Shapiro, who reportedly is no longer representing the actress.

Lohan will be taken to Century Regional Detention Facility in Lynwood.

Despite the 90-day sentence, Lohan could be released sometime early next month on parole as a non-violent offender.
