WB's Alan Horn to keynote Power Lawyers event

Tue Jul 06, 2010 @ 12:00AM PST

Horn We're pleased to announce that our annual Power Lawyers breakfast event will feature a keynote Q&A with Warner Bros. president and COO Alan Horn. Given Horn's decade-long run atop one of Hollywood's most successful studios, it should be an interesting discussion.

We're also happy to reveal this year's recipient of the "Raising the Bar" studio lawyer award: Leah Weil, senior executive vp and general counsel of Sony Pictures Entertainment, will be presented with the award honoring excellence among in-house entertainment counsel (the studio's co-chairman Amy Pascal will do the presenting honors).

Weil Now in its fourth year, the July 16 breakfast coincides with our big Power Lawyers issue of the Hollywood Reporter, which profiles the 100 most influential attorneys in entertainment (we'll post the full list here too). We're moving the invite-only breakfast to the Four Seasons in Beverly Hills, thanks to our generous sponsors (which include City National Bank, JAMS and UBS).
