Hollywood Docket: Mel/Oksana witnesses threatened; Ashton Kutcher talks defamation; Kim Kardashian sex doll

  • As we await Oksana Grigorieva's possible lawsuit against Mel Gibson or maybe her settlement with him -- depending on who or what one believes -- two potential witnesses in the criminal investigation have told law enforcement authorities that their lives were threatened after they refused to fabricate evidence on behalf of Oksana. [THR]
  • Ashton Kutcher on a tabloid report that he cheated on wife Demi Moore: "I think Star magazine calling me a 'cheater' qualifies as defamation of character. I hope my lawyer agrees." Does he? Hint: Kutcher's lawyer is Marty Singer. [Us]
  • Kim Kardashian has sent a cease-and-desist letter to the makers of an inflatable sex doll allegedly modeled after her, arguing that the doll (named "Kinky Kim") violates her rights of publicity. Wait, how did Kim become famous? Oh yeah, a sex tape. [TMZ]
  • A woman is saying that a TV movie inspired her claim that she saw two defendants melt pills in a spoon to inject them into former Playboy model Anna Nicole Smith. We can't wait to see Lifetime TV movie adaptation of the trial, which should reach a whole new level of meta. [AP]
